Scandalous New Gossip Girl Ad Campaign

Have you seen the latest Gossip Girl ads and campaign photos for the CW? These new ads are practically bordering on pornography and the characters in the show are supposed to be mere high school teenagers. Chace Crawford, Blake Lively, and Leighton Meester are clearly prepared to bare it all in the name of ratings.

Not only do they show two of the lead stars engaging in intimate activities, but flashed across the photo are the letters "OMFG" in bold print. You don't have to be a genius to know that the letters don't stand for something cutesy or clean.

Don't get me wrong here, I'm a huge fan of the show, but this might be a bit much. What do you think? Have they taken things too far or has this simply become the norm?

Katie Holmes to Appear in Ann Taylor Ad Campaign

In addition to being a mom, an actress, and wife to Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes can now add the title of 'model' to her resume. The folks at Ann Taylor have decided to sign Katie, 32, to star in their spring 2011 ad campaign. The photographer chosen to take the photos is Tom Munro.

Posted on the Ann Taylor website are a few words from Miss Katie herself. "I've been a fan of Ann Taylor since I was a young girl. I grew up loving the clothes and am really excited to be the face of Ann Taylor for the Spring season. I am thrilled to be part of a brand I believe in."

Personally, I think this is a match made in heaven for her. I find Katie to be the perfect fit for such a classic all American fashion line.
