• June 29, 2010 - Just months after the news broke that Jesse James was involved in numerous alleged extramarital affairs while married to Sandra Bullock, the papers are signed and the divorce is finalized. Sandra and Jesse file the necessary paperwork to end their five-year marriage.
  
  
  
• June 5, 2010 - Sandra Bullock makes a surprise appearance at the Spike TV Guy's Choice Awards and the crowd goes wild. When she steps up to the microphone to accept her "Troops Choice" Entertainer of the Year award, she jokingly makes light of her situation.
  
  
  
• April 28, 2010 - Sandra Bullock and Jesse James adopted a baby boy in January from New Orleans. Sandra has filed for divorce and intends to raise the baby on her own. She named her adorable new son Louis Bardo Bullock.
  
  
  
• April 25, 2010 - One of Jesse's alleged mistresses, Melissa Smith, supposedly sends a fax to Sandra Bullock to apologize. Part of the letter reads: "I felt I needed to reach out to you and tell you how deeply sorry I am for everything that you've been through. • April 6, 2010 - While discussing the Hot Topics segment of The View on April 6, the subject of Jesse James and his multiple affairs came up. Whoopi Goldberg shocked viewers with her comments. "It's nobody's fault. Maybe he was looking for something different," she said.
  
  
  
• March 30, 2010 - Jesse James checks into a treatment facility in Tucson, Arizona, with rumors swirling that he's there for sex addiction. He chose Sierra Tucson, where Tiger Woods also spent a fair amount of time. "Jesse checked himself into a treatment facility to deal with personal issues. • March 22, 2010 - Sandra Bullock was scheduled to attend the Berlin premiere of her film The Blind Side, but when she backed out, the event was canceled. A similar thing happened the week before when Sandra was supposed to be in London to promote the film.

There is only one person to blame for this whole situation, and that is me. This has caused my wife and kids pain and embarrassment beyond comprehension and I am extremely saddened to have brought this on them. I am truly very sorry for the grief I have caused them.
